Aimee Terauchi OD PhD
Dr. Aimee Terauchi grew up in the California Bay Area and earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 2003. With an early passion for science, she pursued a career in research and went on to earn her PhD in Biochemistry from UCLA in 2010. During her postdoctoral studies in St. Louis, she discovered her true calling—connecting directly with people and improving their lives through healthcare. She completed the accelerated Doctor of Optometry program at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, graduating in 2015. Since then, Dr. Terauchi has been proudly serving patients in Arizona’s East Valley, providing personalized, compassionate eye care.

Renee Hanson OD
Dr. Renee Hanson graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a BS in Molecular Biology and received her optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She then completed a residency at UC Berkeley with a focus in pediatric optometry and primary care.
Dr. Hanson has extensive experience practicing along-side Ophthalmologists with over 20 years of experience working in two well-renowned ophthalmology practices. She is skilled in specialty contact lenses, complex cornea cases such as keratoconus, and cataract post-op management.
An Arizona native, Dr. Hanson grew up in Gilbert and is married with two children. When she is not examining eyes she enjoys family time and recreational activities such as yoga, running, hiking and camping. She is also a gourmet chef and loves entertaining friends and family!

Kerri Luce OD
Dr. Kerri Luce is an optometrist with over 25 years of experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from Pacific University and went on to graduate Phi Beta Kappa from Pacific University College of Optometry.
Dr. Luce has extensive experience working with kids and vision therapy, as well as contact lens fitting and primary care. She continues to stay current with advances in vision science and patient care through ongoing professional development.
Outside of work, Dr. Luce is married and has 5 children. She enjoys staying active and looks forward to their annual camping trip in San Diego with her family.

Marianne Ripton OD
Dr. Ripton is a longtime resident of the East Valley. She moved here with her husband after graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry.
A native of Michigan and an MSU Spartan, Marianne enjoys cooking, attending concerts, traveling and raising kittens.
